This original stock image showed these 5 people all looking extremely happy whilst sat on a rail on a bridge, all on their mobile phones. The whole scenario is very unrealistic. However, I decided to just focus on their faces. I gave each of them a new emotion, since it’s unlikely that they would all be laughing at their phones simultaneously. I also tried to portray the fact that the physical emotion that somebody is showing my just be for show, inside they may be feeling completely different.
This stock photo shows two sleeping babies. The only aspect of the image which portrays their genders is the colour each of them is wearing. You would not be able easily to judge their gender just from their face. Therefore, I appropriated this image by simply relabelling their genders by adding the gender signs. Gender signs are a lot more accurate and reliable than a colour of clothing.
